Maya & Roman Phoenix Planned Litter
We are excited to announce a planned breeding between Maya and Roman Phoenix!
Maya recently came into season a little earlier than expected, and after carefully evaluating her health and recovery from her last litter, we have decided to breed her one final time before retirement.
This litter is especially exciting because it will be Roman Phoenix's first. Roman has matured into a handsome, intelligent, and affectionate boy, and we look forward to seeing the wonderful qualities he will pass on to his puppies. Combined with Maya's proven temperament and exceptional mothering instincts, we anticipate a very special litter.
If the breeding is successful, puppies are expected to join their families on or around October 6th.
As Maya's retirement litter, this will be the final opportunity to welcome one of her puppies into your family.
Expected Size
22-35 lbs and 17-19" in height to the withers
On the smaller range of medium-sized goldendoodles
Expected Colors & Coats
We anticipate reds and apricots in solid, abstract, Irish spotted, and parti patterns. Puppies are expected to have black noses, eye rims, and paw pads.
Coat textures are expected to range from straight and shaggy to soft, loose waves.
As with all litters, color, markings, and coat type cannot be guaranteed.
Health & Genetics
The estimated coefficient of inbreeding (eCOI) for this litter is approximately 6%, supporting healthy genetic diversity.

Ember × Roman Planned Litter
Anticipated Heat Cycle: Late December 2026
First Two Picks Reserved (Breeder picks)
This pairing has been thoughtfully planned to produce consistent, well-rounded puppies in both structure and temperament. We expect this litter to fall on the lower end of the medium size range, making them an ideal fit for families looking for a slightly smaller medium Goldendoodle.
Both Ember and Roman carry strong furnishing genetics, so all puppies are expected to have fully furnished coats with a straight to shaggy texture—similar to their parents—creating that classic, soft teddy bear look that is both beautiful and more manageable.
In color, we anticipate rich red coats with white markings (abstract or Irish spotting patterns), along with black noses, eye rims, and paw pads. While Ember carries an undetectable white spotting gene and Roman carries one parti gene, we do not expect parti-colored puppies (greater than 50% white) from this pairing, though some variation in white markings is possible.
Temperament is a priority in our program, and both parents bring loving, balanced personalities with a nice “on/off” switch—playful and engaging, yet able to settle and relax. We expect their puppies to reflect these same family-friendly traits.
The estimated coefficient of inbreeding (eCOI) for this litter is approximately 5%, which is within the typical range for Goldendoodles and supports healthy genetic diversity.
